Part time and Full time Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are a large nursery in the Mossley Hill area (10 minute walk from Mossley Hill Train station and close to bus routes - 68, 80A, 61 & 4). We cater for children from babies up to the age of 5 as well as offering an after school and holiday club provision up to the age of 11. We have a large garden space with designated areas for each age group including greenhouse and gardening area, pets and large playground equipment. There are also plans for introducing a Forest School later this year.
The successful applicants will be passionate about working with young children and MUST have previous experience of working in a setting. They will need to have secure knowledge of the EYFS framework, the Key Person role and the Characteristics of Effective Learning.
It is essential that you possess an NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
It would be desirable for you to have a current paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding children certificate and food hygiene certificate; however these are not essential as training will be given.
Full time hours are 42.5 hours per week on a rota basis between 7.30am - 6pm. Part time hours and casual working can be discussed.
We offer a salary of £8.25 per hour from April 2019.
