Children attending Kelton nursery, will experience a variety of healthy balanced and nutritious foods. The quality of foods served in our nursery is such that we believe it will give them all of the energy they need for a busy day of play, learning and development.
With our excellent cooks we are able to cater for all dietary requirements and we actively look to work with parents in all aspects of your child’s care to make the link between Kelton and home a close one. Our Cooks not only have their Food Safety Certificates, they have also attended Nutritional Training through Liverpool John Moores University.
We take into consideration all dietary requirements whether they be as a result of an allergy, for religious reasons or parental preference. We purchase our products from well-established local sources with our meat being specially selected and prepared by our local Butcher. We do not use processed meats in our sandwiches, the ham is boiled fresh and the chicken is cooked fresh that morning.
A typical day at Kelton nursery starts off with breakfast followed by a healthy two course lunch around mid day and just before tea time another snack which is served with fresh fruit and vegetables.
